Donald S. Feldman, CPA, CVA, CExP™, MBA

Donald S. Feldman founded Keystone Business Transitions, LLC in 2007, a firm based in Lancaster, PA devoted to valuation of closely held businesses and exit and succession planning for business owners. He has been a CPA for 30 years, and for the last 25 years Don’s practice has focused on business valuation and succession planning, including transfers of business interests to family members and key employees, as well as sales to outsiders.

Don holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation (NACVA) and the designation Certified Exit Planner™ (CExP™) awarded by the Business Enterprise Institute. 

Don is a frequent speaker at industry and professional conferences and has been a regular columnist for a Central Pennsylvania business publication.

Izabela Szymanska, CExP™, Ph.D., MBA

Izabela Szymanska, Ph.D. is Certified Exit Planner (CExP), and a family business consultant. Izabela empowers families to foster unity over shared values, work towards common goals and develop their business from one generation to the next. Izabela equips family firms with tools to move from anxiety and stagnation to harmony and growth with measurable systems that families can use for generations.

She helps enterprising families overcome gaps in communication and equip them with tools to stay connected, vibrant, and agile in the changing business environment.

Izabela has published in the areas of succession planning and entrepreneurship in Journal of Family Business Management, among other outlets. She is also an affiliate of The Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices (STEP) Project, an international study effort exploring the best practices in family business entrepreneurship. In collaboration with KPMG, the STEP Project is a global applied initiative that explores the entrepreneurial process within business families and generates solutions with immediate applications for business leaders. Currently Izabela serves on the STEP Project Planning Committee.
